The Collective features 16,580 square feet of freestanding retail, 2,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, and 250 luxury apartment units. The community is located along the highly traveled North Davidson Street corridor in the creative NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte. The project is less than 2 miles from Uptown Charlotte and steps away from the LYNX Blue Line light rail station.

Ram formed a joint venture with the landowner in 2017 and developed the mixed-use project. Additionally, Ram redeveloped the existing 1950s era freestanding building, which now houses Free Range Brewing, Rhino Market & Deli, and other small shop retailers. The community was sold September 2021 to a NYSE-traded multifamily REIT.
