Sean Barlas Joins Ram as Chief Investment Officer

Ram Realty Advisors ("Ram") is pleased to announce Sean Barlas joined the firm as Chief Investment Officer. Sean is based in Ram’s Charlotte, North Carolina office where he will lead the firm’s investment teams in South Florida, Central Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

“I look forward to working closely with the talented team of professionals at Ram,” says Sean. “I’ve known the firm principals for 15 years and appreciate the opportunity to help shape investment strategy going forward.”

Sean was most recently a Managing Director at Wells Fargo where he led the Real Estate Merchant Banking Group (REMB). As Wells Fargo’s national-scale, proprietary taxable real estate investment business, REMB deployed capital across the risk spectrum, including direct equity and structured finance.

Sean has over 25 years of real estate investment, finance, and capital markets experience. He started in 1997 at Wells Fargo’s predecessor entities, holding management positions in Real Estate Capital Markets, Risk Management, Structured Finance, and Special Situations groups. Before joining Wells Fargo, Sean held various roles in captive real estate subsidiaries of Chevy Chase Bank and Bank of America, where his responsibilities ranged from land entitlement, development, construction, and asset sales. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Towson University.
