Michael Harstad

Vice President of Construction, Florida

Michael Harstad is responsible for project management, predevelopment budgeting, and due diligence. He also provides leadership to project management teams in Florida. Prior to joining Ram in 2012, Mr. Harstad worked for Facchina Construction of Florida and The Weitz Company (26 years), serving as Vice President of Pre-Construction and Construction Management during his tenure.

Mr. Harstad is a Florida Certified General Contractor, has held licenses as a general contractor in seven other states and is LEED AP certified. He received his B.S. degree in construction from the Colorado School of Mines in 1979 and his M.B.A. from the University of Florida in 2005. Mr. Harstad’s background includes all types of commercial construction, ranging from small tenant improvements to a 1.5 million square foot mixed-use project. His focus since 2008 has been in multifamily and retail projects.
