New office will support Ram’s numerous development projects throughout the region
Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., March 19, 2008 – Ram, a leader in real estate development and acquisitions, today announced that it has opened an office in Midtown Atlanta.
Located at The Biltmore at 817 West Peachtree Street, Suite 910, the office will be managed by Ken Baye, senior vice president of development for Ram. Baye will oversee the company’s development and construction of projects in the Atlanta market.
“We are extremely bullish about Atlanta, and have a number of new projects in progress in this area at the moment,” said Baye. “Atlanta is an important market for us, and we’ll be aggressively pursuing projects where we can utilize our expertise in redevelopment, ground-up development and urban infill.”
In addition, Ram has purchased 6.6 acres in Snellville, Ga., and plans to redevelop the former Home Depot Landscape Supply site together with a 4.5 acre site on Scenic Highway into a retail center. Ram is also actively looking for additional properties to purchase, and has a number of potential property acquisitions in the Atlanta area under consideration.
Founded 30 years ago, Ram pursues the acquisition, development, and redevelopment of commercial, multifamily and mixed-use real estate throughout the Southeast, with a focus on the major markets in Georgia, Florida and the Carolinas. Ram’s development pipeline now exceeds $750 million, to be funded through the recently launched Ram Realty Partners II Fund. In addition to its development activity, Ram acquires existing assets and portfolios where it can add value. Ram’s Atlanta office is complemented by its corporate headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and its offices in Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, FL, and Raleigh, NC.
