Ram arranges new St. Pete retail release

St. Petersburg – Ram recently signed a lease with Goodwill at its Central Plaza shopping center. The discount retailer will serve as an anchor tenant and will occupy 29,440 sf of space at Central Plaza, which is at the northeast corner of 34th Street North and Central Avenue. The store is expected to open in May. Central Plaza is a 74,600 sf shopping center that also features Payless Shoes and Family Dollar stores. Other notable tenants at the 100% occupied center include Foot Locker, CitiTrends and LA Fashions. The center underwent a major architectural renovation in 2006. Tom Meredith, vice president of retail leasing with Ram, and Dennis Kleier handled the transaction.

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Jan. 15, 2008 – Ram, a leader in real estate development and acquisitions, today announced that Megan Atkin has joined the company as a retail leasing manager in the Tampa, Fla., office.

In her new role, Atkin will be responsible for all leasing activities for Ram’s west coast portfolio consisting of 854,000 square feet. Atkin has more than four years of experience in commercial real estate.

Prior to joining Ram, Atkin was a retail associate with CB Richard Ellis in Tampa, Fla., where she was responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective clients to lease and occupy available space at existing centers and negotiating new leases and renewals. Additionally, she created marketing plans for existing properties with a focus on the retail market. Atkin began her career as an office and retail specialist with Grubb & Ellis Phoenix Realty Group Inc. in Jacksonville, Fla.

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Jan. 15, 2008 – Ram, a leader in real estate development and acquisitions, today announced that Lynette Green has joined the company as a senior retail leasing manager in the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., office.

In her new role, Green will handle all leasing responsibilities for a mix of Ram’s existing portfolio, which includes Main Street at Midtown as well as new developments in Florida and Chapel Hill, N.C. She has more than 18 years of experience in retail leasing, property management and business development.

Prior to joining Ram, Green was a senior associate with CB Richard Ellis. While at CB Richard Ellis, Green completed more than 79,635 square feet of retail transactions in 2006 with a value of more than $13.4 million.
